When friends trick Beatrice and Benedick into thinking the other person likes them, it sets in motion a string of feisty conversations that draws the other ever closer. Meanwhile, while Claudio and Hero fell in love at first sight, their love is able to be temporarily shaken by a set-up situation where Claudio is made to think that Hero has been unfaithful to him.
